パンとエスプレッソと 由比ガ浜商店
鎌倉駅から御成商店街を抜け、由比ガ浜大通りに面した「パンとエスプレッソと由比ガ浜商店」。
築100年以上続いた地域に親しまれていた酒屋「榮屋商店」の建物をリノベーションを行った。
1号店の表参道のベーカリーカフェ「パンとエスプレッソと」をはじめ、国内に22店舗展開する人気店の一つに生まれ変わった。
元の建物は長屋形式の間取りで、手前が酒屋やタバコを販売する商店があり、奥には土間を抜けると住居が続き、裏庭の蔵に抜ける。 昔ながらの商家スタイル。既存の建物が持つ雰囲気や素材の良さを最大限に残ししつつ、新しい操作が違和感なく馴染むようなデザインを心掛けた。
入口から広がるラウンドした10mのカウンターは店販やレジ、サーブなど連動できるような動線にし 奥に見えるセントラルキッチンはライブ感を演出し、販売しているパンとの距離が近くなるようにした。
裏庭のランドスケープ計画は鎌倉に自生している植物をメインに植えつつ、時間を忘れるような人も動物も居心地の良いテラス席を目指した。

“Bread, Espresso and Yuigahama Shoten'' is located on Yuigahama Street after passing through Onari Street from Kamakura Station. It has been reborn as one of the popular stores with 22 stores in Japan.
The original building had a row house-style floor plan, with a liquor store and a store selling tobacco in the front. In the back, you can go through a dirt floor to find the residence, and then go through to the storehouse in the backyard. Old-fashioned merchant style.
While preserving the atmosphere and quality of the materials of the existing building to the maximum extent possible, We tried to create a design that would allow the new controls to fit in without any discomfort.
The round 10meter counter extending from the entrance is designed to create a flow line that can be linked to store sales, cashiers, and servers.
The central kitchen that can be seen in the back creates a live feeling, and the distance from the bread sold is small.
I tried to get closer.
The backyard landscape plan is mainly planted with plants that grow naturally in Kamakura. We aimed for a comfortable terrace seat where both people and animals would forget the time.
